Outside of the office, Heidi enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is married with four children ranging in age from 7 to 31 and is a proud grandmother of three. Her household also includes two dogs, a bearded dragon, and a squirrel named Terri.

Vision Therapist
I have always enjoyed working with people and helping them. Having accomplished many positions in the corporate world, 12 years ago I decided it was time to do something that I felt would truly make a difference.
After 12 years, I still enjoy the rewards received being a Vision Therapist. My work style, due to my background is efficient and organized. Prior experience has given me the ability to understand different personalities. I am truly compassionate and caring while maintaining patience. Having fun but staying on task is of importance.
The skills to succeed as a Vision Therapist are many. Loving the job is the most important while being as knowledgeable as possible. Relating to patients from children to adults, while offering encouragement and guidance makes for success in therapy.
Vision therapy will help with visual skills as well as correcting certain vision problems. A patient will accommodate for the insufficiency of both eyes working together. Once the eyes become a team, school and work become easier. Life becomes less stressful, confidence soars. I have seen it change lives.
I am married and have two adult children and a lovely granddaughter who had vision therapy. My husband and I enjoy sports, travelling, and living at the lake. My favorite time is when the family is all together.
